This category aims to reward a not-for-profit organisation which has undertaken a compassionate activity to improve the well-being or quality of life of patients with cancer, or made a significant contribution to the fight against cancer.

My Award generated interest from other centres, with which I have shared information, and I have been invited to speak at numerous conferences. Macmillan Cancer Support is now helping me look at extending this work further. Winning has had lots of positive benefits and I am motivated to look at other areas for improvement.
