You can enter or nominate for as many awards as you want but you should only enter each initiative or person in one category. The judging panel may choose to move entries into alternative categories from those originally entered, if they deem it applicable.
You may nominate your team or colleagues/peers for an award. When nominating someone else, please ensure that you obtain their consent for you to enter on their behalf.
When you submit your award online (either as an online application or by uploading a Word form) you will receive an email confirming receipt of your entry. If you email a Word form directly to the award secretariat, you will also receive a confirmation email that we have received your entries.
All awards must be received by the awards secretariat by Friday 15th July.
The shortlisted finalists will be informed by email in September.
Shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend the Excellence in Oncology Awards ceremony and dinner on Tuesday 8th November.
You will be contacted directly if your entry is shortlisted, details regarding the award ceremony and accompanying guests will be provided at this stage.
You can withdraw your entry at any time. Changes are not permitted to your entry after the submission deadline has passed.
The Excellence in Oncology awards are only open to healthcare professionals working within the UK.

Due to the historic volume of entries, the Excellence in Oncology Awards judges are unable to offer individual comments to its entrants.
If your entry is short-listed, the Awards organisers may like to reproduce a summary of your entry, photographs and any other supporting materials in the winners’ booklet or within other materials they produce to promote the Awards (e.g. press materials or on the website). On each award application form, there is a section for you to confirm you are happy for your materials to be used in this way. The Awards organisers will not use any materials if you do not give express permission.
